Season Two of The Walking Dead Targets Autumn 2013
Telltale Confirms Date After Initial Confusion
A lot of The Walking Dead fans will be wiping their sweaty brows after Telltale Games confirmed they are targeting a Autumn 2013 release for the second season of their point and click action hit, not Autumn 2014, as was initially reported.
After recieving the BAFTA Game Award for Best Story, studio co-founder and CEO Dan Connors told Eurogamer: “We’re aiming for fall next year.”
However, possibly mixed up in his delight at picking up a BAFTA, Connors mixed his dates up and Telltale has since confirmed that the studio are targeting a release later THIS year.
A statement mailed to GameInformer reads: “The current estimated release window for Season Two of The Walking Dead is for fall of ‘this’ year (2013), and not ‘next’ year (2014) as has been reported after a recent interview”
The game, similar to the TV show of the same name, follows a group of survivors in a zombie apocalypse and forces the player to make choices that have ramifications throughout the game.
