New Doom 3 BFG Edition Trailer Focuses On ‘The Lost Mission’
What Was Lost Has Thankfully Been Found
A new trailer for DOOM 3 BFG Edition has been released.
The in-game footage is from ‘The Lost Mission’, a new part of the game exclusive to the BFG Edition.
For those of you who missed out on John Carmack’s famous third, Doom 3 is an FPS that sees you return to Mars to face off against the forces of Hell. As the only surviving member of the Union Aerospace Corporation’s Bravo Team, you are the last hope in a race to stop a full scale invasion from Hell.
A spokesman said: “DOOM 3 BFG Edition is the ultimate collection of groundbreaking games that defined the first person shooter. It includes DOOM, DOOM II, DOOM 3, and DOOM 3: Resurrection of Evil, as well as eight all-new terrifying levels entitled ‘The Lost Mission’. All DOOM 3 content has been re-mastered for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in stunning 3D for an even more terrifying FPS experience.”
Having Doom 3 on Xbox and PS3 is exciting enough, but the lure of this extra content should be more than enough to create a whole new generation of Doom fans.
