Gearbox Officially Reveals Borderlands 2 New Character Trailer, Level Cap Increase Confirmed
New Character Not Included With Season Pass
So we recently reported that a new trailer teasing a sixth playable character in Borderlands 2 was shown at SXSW, well now Gearbox has officially released said trailer and in the process confirmed that the level cap will soon be raised.
The new character seems to be melee based, if the trailer is anything to go by. Gearbox also said it will divulge more details about the new playable character and the level cap at PAX East, which runs from March 22-24.
Three DLC expansions have been released for Borderlands 2, which could be downloaded as part of the Season Pass. However, Gearbox has confirmed to Joystiq that the upcoming new character would not be be included as part of the Season Pass.
