DualShock 3 Not Supported By PS4
You Will Be Able To Use Your PS Move Controller, However
Sony have confirmed that the DualShock 3 controller will be incompatible with the PlayStation 4. The new console, however, will support the Move controllers.
“[The PlayStation 4] doesn’t support DualShock 3 but it does support PS Move,” Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida confirmed in an interview with Polygon.
The news is hardly surpisingly, as DualShock 4, which was announced alongside the PS4 last Wednesday, comes with so much new technology.
It is believed that Sony wants developers to be able to make their games and be sure that everyone will have the new technology, such as the share button, Move sensor and touchpad.
