Boy Hospitalized After Playing Modern Warfare 3 For Four Days Straight
Family Naturally Blames The Game, Not Themselves
If you’re looking for games-related stupidity then brace yourself, here comes a cracker – a 15-year-old Ohio boy has been hospitalized for dehydration after playing Modern Warfare 3 for four days straight.
According to a report by CBS, Columbus resident Tyler Rigby collapsed after failing to eat and drink properly during his moronic gaming binge.
Rigby’s aunt Jennifer Thompson told CBS: “It’s like he was looking at me but he wasn’t there. It was like he was looking through me.
“We were talking and I heard a thump and I looked over and he just fell.”
Rigby’s mother Jessie Rawlins said he was worried for his life. “He just fell over three times,” she said.
While Rigby is expected to recover after being hydrated by medics, his mother says his Xbox will be confiscated.
Far be it from us to comment on parenting skills but the fact that the boy was allowed to play for four days straight says less about the game itself and more about his environment.
